JOURNAL ENTRY DAY 10: JUNE 25, 2007

Another day of rain poured over us from the heavens. As I drove in, I could barely see the road; cars were pulling over, and motorcycles stopped beneath bridges. I was sure today we would be soaked. But, as the Lord usually does, He extended His grace to us and gently brushed us with a refreshing cascade.

Today, which has been the worst for weather, was the largest number of soldiers for this stand. Nearly sixty came faithfully to position themselves, regardless of storms or the calm. The earlier weather had traffic backed up for miles on the interstate, and cars slowly crawled past us on Church Street. With the number of people that we had, we nearly wrapped the building, and with the cars creeping on I-40, thousands of onlookers could see the Siege taking place.

With so many driving by there were many voices throwing words our way. I asked one of my guys how things were going, and with a smile on his face he said, “the birds are still flying.” One man sat at the stoplight and spoke my way. He asked with a smirk on his face what we were doing. As I jogged over to him I explained that we were praying and repenting. As soon as those words left my lips he laughed in disgust and cursed at me and at what we were doing. He muttered some other language at me, but I couldn’t make out what he was saying nor did I want to. As I turned toward him to launch missiles of intercession his way, I noticed his license plate. In one word he was stating his worldly destiny. It read, “DOOMED.” I prayed then and ask you to pray now; that his destiny would be changed and he would be no longer marked doomed, but saved.

The battle belongs to the Lord. Purity is being released and the clarion call of the Lord reverberates throughout the land. This is the time to dig in and increase in the Spirit. The shift is coming and righteousness will reign. The roar of the righteous must be heard.
