JOURNAL ENTRY DAY 3: JUNE 18, 2007

Before we began a storm moved in the city bringing heavy rains. My heart will only let me think of the Lord coming to us like the rain, like the latter and former rain to the earth. Our hearts grow and burn with excitement to see the victory, promise and fullness of the Lord.

I am so moved by this group that has chosen to lay it all down for the Kingdom. One young lady today, from the moment we arrived to Church Street until nearly the end, wept underneath her blindfold as she prayed. I felt the power of intercession through tears as each drop hit the ground.

Another young man joined us after he drove by. As he talked with me he said that he was just praying that God would pull down the clutches of pornography and places like Hustler Hollywood. He said he was so excited in seeing us and how the Lord answers prayers quickly sometimes.

From the rains coming down earlier in the day the humidity was high. Mixed with the excessive traffic of rush hour and all the fumes, or army was hot and thirsty. With all of this going on, out of the blue two young women who are employees of Hustler came out with armfuls of Aquafina water. They distributed the water themselves to those Standing on the wall. I was blown away by this gesture, and felt reassured that our Stand was one of love and not judgment. One of the young ladies with us received a revelation that this day the women at the well just gave Jesus water. How amazing is He that even makes our enemies to be at peace with us.

Just after receiving water a van caught my eye. It was wrapped in custom graphics with various shades of blue flames. Obviously the blue caught my attention, as it was similar to our Pure Life Blue. Across the front of the van and on the side was inscribed Ready One. The Lord began speaking to me though this about this season of preparation.

God is moving. He is not about to move. He is on the move now. He is mustering His army for the day of battle. Will you be ready? Are you a Ready One? It’s not to late. Prepare yourself, prepare you heart, purify yourself for tomorrow the Lord will do great wonders among you.
