JOURNAL ENTRY DAY 4: JUNE 19, 2007

Are these the days of Elijah? It seems to me, as thousands pass by us each day, that the majority of people agree with our Stand. Yes, we do get cussed at, laughed at, and ridiculed, but most cannot dispute the fact that there is a pornographic plague ravaging our nation.

Today, especially, many onlookers honked, pumped their fists, waved their hands, and yelled out an infectious “thank you”. Could it be that thousands have not bowed their knee to Baal, but are waiting for someone to step up and take a Stand? I believe most Christians would agree that this is a battle that must be fought, but all to often they would rather someone else fight that battle. The day of battle is at hand and we must not retreat, or remain hidden in the cave of despair.

We, the Church, must come out of hiding. I was grieved today as a man drove by in a nineties model Mustang. He slowed as he passed by us, and angrily howled out: “Jesus Christ and John were gay, pornography is beautiful.” How the enemy has blinded so many in this millennium. Another carload of young men passed by. Their faces were scabbed over and their hair was greasy. They waved their hands at me and cried out: “hail Satan.” Today the blindfolds helped us to realize how blind we are in the darkness without the light of Jesus in our lives.

The light dispels all darkness. Join with us in praying for these that would say such foolish things. Pray for the Lord to invade their dreams and reveal His love to them. Pray that their hearts would receive and that the enemy would remove his grip from their minds.

God is so good and His mercy endures forever!
