JOURNAL ENTRY DAY 8: JUNE 23, 2007

The land may be filled with giants. We may look like grasshoppers, but with our God we can run against a troop. We are more than conquerors through Jesus, and the Lord is triumphant. These giants were meant to fall.

The calming breeze kisses our faces as we stand in the sun. Even on the filed of battle the peace of God will and does surround us. He says that He will even prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies. How’s that for surety? We can banquet with Him in the midst of war. Our war is against the principalities and powers not the people enslaved and seduced by them.

I believe the rays of the Son are shining down on this city and this nation. We are at the brink of cataclysmic change. I look at the faces of these bold warriors as they continue to pray, fast, and war for the kingdom. What fortitude, determination and tenacity that is stirring. I believe the Lord looks at this troop and sees great faith.

The report of the Lord is favorable. In His report the pornographic empire can fall, the exploitation of children and women ceases, and families are no longer crippled and bruised because of this cancerous addiction. Yes, we see the travesty all around us, but we are not governed by our eyes or ruled by what we see. Just today a family went in to Hustler. A family! Which included a young child. Time and again we see this happening. We must be moved and motivated by faith and continuously return to the report of the Lord. For the Lord is able to heal, restore and save.

Today, pray for families that are wrestling with this spirit in their lives. Pray for the children and their innocence. Pray for the father’s to arise to be the kings, prophets, and priests of their homes. Pray for marriages to be strengthened and intimacy to increase. Through Christ we are victorious and we must continue to proclaim that victory. Proclaim it now, and let us see the salvation of our God!
