Definition of amoral:
1. Not admitting of moral distinctions or judgments; neither moral nor immoral. Being outside or beyond the moral order or a particular code of morals.
2. Lacking moral sensibility; not caring about right and wrong.

Although America is sometimes still referred to as a “Christian” nation, the fact is that large portions of America have already become amoral. It can be easily argued that America is already a post-Christian nation. Much of society, in the name of progress, tolerance, and humanism has moved on from believing in and living according to God's prescribed laws and morals. When traveling to the coasts of America or many northern cities, it is astounding to see how secularism, humanism—and, ultimately, hedonism—have taken over the mindset of the majority of people.

It seems that we have neatly packaged away God and His morals and moved on. We're over Him now, or maybe we have just redefined Him and His Word to better suit ourselves. He was in our way and didn't fit in with modern thought and morality (or lack thereof), so it was convenient and essential to do away with Him and the puritan or Biblical way of thinking.

Life without a defined moral code creates a society with one destiny: to plummet down a slippery slope into great degradation and uninhibited decay. Democracy without a Christian moral code is nothing less than a disaster waiting to happen. The devastating result of this is already being felt in our nation.

The Great Satan

Lack of morals in the Western world, along with the resulting sexual immorality and unashamed, unrestrained promiscuity, is one of the main reasons Muslims feel very justified in their great hatred and destructive aggression against us. They look at our movies, our divorce rate, abortion, and Internet filth, and they truly believe they are fighting against the "great Satan" himself. Truthfully, although they obviously have some serious issues and deceptions, in many ways they are, indeed, fighting against Satan. In the name of “freedom of speech” and the First Amendment, the devil has insidiously entrenched himself in our society as we have thrown off Biblical restraint and enthroned ourselves.

Recently, I went to Harvard University to join a group (the Cause/Justice House of Prayer) in 40 days of night-and-day prayer and fasting for God to break out again in American universities. While there, I had the opportunity to communicate with some young men who were standing outside Harvard, passing out brochures in support of a radical, liberal political agenda.

After listening to one young man for a few minutes, I suddenly found myself prophesying to him. I said, "You’ve forgotten about one thing. . . You have forgotten about the heartland of America. There are still many people in this nation who believe that God is on the throne and that the Bible is truth and that God still has an opinion in regard to how things should go in America. There is going to be a movement and an uprising from the heartland of America. Up here in Boston, you have no anchor of truth; it's just a smorgasbord of whatever you want. It's a free-for-all. There is no absolute truth or morality to be found. Everything’s subjective and based upon how each individual feels. Whatever ‘feels right’ rules. People's opinions and even their self-gratifying desires have replaced God and His moral standard. Mark this: There's going to be an uprising for truth and righteousness coming from the heartland of America!”

Shock Troops

This highly intellectual individual looked at me in shock. He looked at me like I had come from another planet. He, and many like him, have long disregarded this way of thinking and have forgotten that there are some in this land who still revere God and honor His Word as truth and as the pre-eminent moral code for society. As I prophesied, he was stunned and silenced. His confidence was clearly shaken, and he was reduced to rambling about some Greek mythological story. His faulty foundation had crumbled under the weight of the prophetic truth and had been shown for what it was: the tangled web of self-enthroning, God-denying lies.

We can certainly see the results of this modern way of thinking in Massachusetts, where gay marriage and homosexuality are presently flourishing. Gays and lesbians are flocking there from all over America to get married. This is nothing less than an abomination in the region that was once the cradle of puritan values, revival, and great awakening in our nation.

Although a remnant of believers who are anchored in God and His truth still reside there, the reality is that most people in liberal regions of America don't know right from wrong. They have intentionally or unintentionally disregarded traditional Christian values as a moral compass for their lives. We are in a time in which relativism rules almost unchallenged. . . and everyone has a “right” to make up his or her own values according to how he or she feels. And, of course, those values can change like the wind, just as feelings do.

The Resistance Is Already Here!

From the heartland will come a resistance movement that will overthrow these exceedingly decrepit and destructive ways of thought. As the heartland arises and stands for God’s definition of truth and righteousness, it will send shock waves across this land. Although the liberal media will want us to continue to roll over and play dead, the truth is that the battle for America is far from over. It is only just beginning; as the Church awakens to her true identity in Christ and her role in society, there will, indeed, be a Pure Life Revolution!

The revolutionaries of the Church are now emerging out of great seasons of hidden preparation. God is raising up His special forces, who will first charge into the strongholds of society. They are His shock troops; they will literally stun and paralyze the enemy, who presently holds multitudes captive in his prison camps of modern thought. Multitudes of these POWs will be set free through the aggressive heralding of God's ultimate weapons: His unadulterated truth and love.

Get ready, for the battle lines have been drawn and the Revolution is on! As we take a stand to re-establish God's honor through the embracing of Biblical values and morality in our land, truth will prevail! Many are already tired of the perpetual insecurity and insanity of living in an anchorless, sinking-sand society, and they will come back to the true and pure foundation once it is revealed again. Our job is to remove the humanistic debris (the lies) and make the truth visible, attractive, and obtainable once again to the general public. Once Jesus is lifted up, all will be drawn to Him. . . Even in a post-Christian nation, He remains "the Way, the Truth and the Life."

As the Church rises up in great humility and boldness and as she models and teaches the ways of Christ, we will see a shift from an amoral society to a moral society. The beauty of holiness will be seen again in America. It will start in the heartland and spread like fire to even the most liberal, humanized, and demonized cities. We have entered into a new era in America. Entire cities will be liberated and there will be strongholds of righteousness in America.

Take heart. . . Victory is certain. . . And the truth and love of Jesus that will soon be seen in His people will effectively dispel even the greatest darkness of our times!
