“My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth”
(Psalm 121:2 NIV).

Help is essential!  We all need it. All human beings are needy.  There is no escaping the reality of the human condition… we are born needy. Just think about how dependent a baby is. Our dependency must be on the Lord, and we must be established in Him.

Good news! God has committed Himself to helping us on this expedition from the womb to the tomb and beyond! Even before we were in the womb, He knew us, and He called us by name. We are fearfully and wonderfully made, and He has sent His very best, both His Son and His Spirit, to be our helpers.

No matter what stage of life we are in, we have needs that are not going away. We have to make a choice; we can get these needs met in either legitimate (healthy) or illegitimate (unhealthy) ways. There is not one person who has ever lived who has not needed assistance in this journey called life.

The truth is, we desperately need God—and one another! This is a beautiful thing; God made human beings communal creatures who thrive on love, acceptance and affection. He put us into families (relational units) and invites us into His. We don’t have to go at it alone.

We need each other to be fully healed and complete: “Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective” (James 5:16, NIV).  No one will successfully make it alone!

Like with any addiction or struggle, the one who is bound must take the initiative to get free or he will never be free.   Until a person takes responsibility for himself and his actions, he will continue to struggle and see only limited success.

One lie that we have bought into is that we have to keep things hidden; What will people think of me? If we would bring things to the light, we would much more easily find freedom and continuous victory. Walk in the light in all things.  That is why accountability is so vital.

People often ask: “why do I do what I know God hates?  Why can I not get free from this?  I have prayed and fasted, but I can not seem to get lasting freedom.”  Satan is relentless with this war. People have times of victory and then fall and think they never were free to begin with.  The truth is, victory is assured and has been experienced, but must be sustained and continuously warred for.

Sometimes we must take drastic steps for our freedom.  Christ has already paid the price for it, so it is ours for the taking.  What I mean by more drastic steps is this: if your struggle is the internet – maybe you need to get rid of it at home; if your accountability isn’t working, maybe you need to find someone who isn’t just a close friend to keep you accountable.  It is easy to confess or answer to our buddy, but it is another thing when we answer to a Pastor or Church leader or someone who will really keep us accountable. For lasting freedom, nothing will match or replace a strong accountability partner.

The other thing in this battle is the shame, condemnation and dirtiness that addictions, porn, lust, and immorality bring.  There is now, therefore, no condemnation in Christ Jesus.  A righteous man may fall, but he gets back up.  Don’t get back up where you started your walk with Christ, but where you fell down.  We must get violent in getting rid of the sin in our lives.  Freedom is available and we must be able to see it, to lay hold of it.  Today - right now - you can be free.

In this section we have compiled a list of both practical and spiritual resources that we believe will be very useful to you (or a loved one) on your journey toward wholeness and holiness. Many of the links and the ministries represented here are headed by our personal friends. Others have come highly recommended, and their work has been seen to have good fruit. We believe that, as you seek the Holy Spirit, He will guide you to the exact resources and relationships you need in your healing process.

We pray that you will find a healthy community of believers that is sincere in its commitment to purity and devotion to Christ. Being in a Christian community is vitally important for anyone who wants to be truly functional and successful in the Kingdom of Heaven. There are no “Lone Rangers” in God's kingdom. Have you ever noticed the Lone Ranger has to wear a mask? We are children of light who have become so by coming into the light! To get help, we first have to take off the masks and to be transparent and honest in regard to our struggles.

The body of Jesus Christ is made up of many different parts with different functions, but we are one body and one people under the headship of Jesus Christ. We are no good to the Kingdom if we are disconnected from the body. An eyeball or a hand disconnected from the body is, at best, a freakish thing. Let's get connected and be part of the greatest movement and the greatest company the world has ever witnessed: the Body of Christ! “Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart” (2 Timothy 2:22, NIV).

There is presently a bride that is emerging from the grip of the world system, and she is making herself ready to meet her King! She will be an exceedingly radiant and pure bride.
“Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints) (Revelation 19:7 NIV).
God bless you, and may the Lord lead you into nothing less than the middle of a Pure Life Revolution that encompasses you, your family, your community, your city and your nation!
