WHILE PRAYING WITH PURE LIFE...

While praying with the Pure Life Revolution, God gave me a whole series of things that I meditated and prayed about. There was three things He gave me, 1) this is the foundation, 2) we are to be gate keepers, and 3) this is to be a light for the world of His love that led the children of Israel out of bondage.

Foundation – God showed me that the church in Nashville is like the foundation of our house. Our house has been damaged by the blasting of the developers in this area and the foundation has dropped and damaged the walls on the interior and exterior. God showed me that the foundation of the church is the same, the attacks by the enemy has slowly caused the foundation to drop and damage the house of God, This is causing cracks in the walls and allowing the enemy to start coming into Nashville even more than before. The church has been sleeping and hasn’t noticed what is and was going on. We are here to wake the church up and show them the damage that has and is being done, and we are destined to shore up that foundation, to raise it back up and make the house of God solid and sound again.

Gate Keeper – Once we have started fixing the foundation, we are then required to be the gate keepers for the city. I saw use standing on the ramparts of a city wall and looking out over a field in front of the walls at night. I could see shapes and forms coming toward the walls, then loudly I heard “A GREAT BATTLE IS COMING” and this repeated over and over again. I then saw a huge serpent in front of the walls rising up and striking at the walls and the people on the walls, then I heard “feathers have been ruffled, a great battle is coming”.

Light, Love of God – God said that we are to be like the light that led the children of Israel out of the bondage of Egypt. We will be that light showing the love of God to those that are in bondage from pornography, prostitution, drugs, and alcohol. We must show them the compassion and love of God, not the condemnation of religion. Once they see and feel that love, they will be drawn to it, they will follow it out of their bondage, out of their Egypt. They will take up the staff, they will become standard bearers. God then showed me the wall again with the serpent, but this time the people on the wall had the light that they were shining onto the darkened field, they were revealing all of the things that the enemy had hidden from the eyes of men. Everyone then could see the real truth, hidden behind this beautiful thing called Freedom, were dark sinister creatures, the lies and deceptions that the enemy had hidden while he lulled us into that deep slumber. Now with the light of God revealing these things, men now knew what had happened, what price must be paid, and what had to happen to correct the problem we created.

I started losing focus and struggled to get the jumble of thoughts and ramblings out of my tiring mind. Then I was finally able to clear and quiet my mind again, immediately I saw a field with dry grass in my mind and heard God revealing that the grass in the field dies first when the drought and heat of the summer grows. Even though it may spread fast and take over a whole field, its roots are shallow and grows in the superficial part of the earth. The trees of the field have deep roots and can live through the summer drought and heat, we are like those trees with our roots deep in the Word and immersed in the Living Waters. We will overcome this that is before us because we have that staying power, we will be prepared and knowledgeable in the Word and immersed in those waters that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has given us. When the battle starts to rage, the temperatures of the summer climb, our bodies start to tire, and our mouths become parched, we know we will be the victor for He that is within us is greater than he that is in the world. We won’t even need to look to the mountains and see the flaming armies of God and the hosts of His angels with us and prepared for battle, because we know they are there and have always been there waiting for us to take up this good and righteous fight. When the battle is done and the summer grass is all dried up, God will open up the heavens and a deluge of his blessing will rain forth covering all of His children, washing away the dried up grass, and giving life to those seeds that were buried in the soil and hidden by all of the grass. These seeds will sprout forth blooming all over the floor of the valley, a spiritual spring will burst forth.
